Project Summary: Contour initially assisted Tesco to find a suitable location for a foodstore in the town. Thereafter, Contour successfully removed the ‘employment land’ designation from the site (following an appearance at the Development Plan Hearing) and engaged key stakeholders and the local community in public consultation. Ultimately, Contour secured planning permission for a 30,000 sq. ft foodstore on the site and then were retained as consultants at the implementation stage, which involved three Section 73 (Material Amendment) applications, the discharge of conditions, and advertisement consents. Contour are currently engaged in promoting residential development (including through the development plan process) on residual land owned by the client.
