Contour wins place on Anchor’s development framework

Contour Planning has been appointed to assist Anchor with its major four-year development framework.

We are one of six planning consultancies chosen to support Anchor's ambitious plans to deliver 5,700 new homes nationwide over the forthcoming decade, with an estimated project value of £800 million.

Contour Planning Director Karen Crowder-James said “We are thrilled to have secured a place on this framework. Our relationship with Anchor dates back nearly 10 years and we’re delighted that our positive contribution to their vibrant communities has been recognised with this formal appointment. We look forward to helping them realise their ambitious plans”.

Steve Hogben, director of technical and commercial services for Anchor said: “With such a large framework stemming from our ambitious plans to further our provision for later living across the country, it was important we sourced the correct experience and expertise for our long-term partnerships.

“We were very impressed by the submissions we received and are looking forward to working with our chosen partners to help deliver Anchor’s development strategy.”

Anchor are England’s largest provider of specialist housing and care for people in later life, managing 54,000 homes available for rent, sale, and shared ownership tailored for individuals aged 55 and above. They operate across nearly 1,700 locations, serving over 65,000 residents.
